Value Wines: $10 and Below

Our Value Wines section is designed to be an on-going, ever-changing reference to the best valued wines available to purchasers in BC and Ontario. Many of the wines are available in the other Provinces and in the United States as well, but the "value" reflects the price one pays here.

The following wines are commonly available for $10 or less. Also see our $15 and Below and $20 and Below sections.

McGuigan Wines 2009 Black Label Shiraz - $9
Region: South Eastern Australia
Country: Australia
Notes: This is straight-forward, simple Shiraz with classic aromas of cherries, black pepper and blackberries. Flavours of red and dark fruit follow suit on the palate. Inky-purple in colour with a moderate, lingering spicy finish and none of the bitter aftertaste you often get with cheap wine.

Cono Sur 2009 Viognier - $10
Region: Colchagua Valley

Morandé 2008 Pionero Pinot Noir - $10
